It's the Premier League. Everyone wants a bit of it. Football supporters need to tell these types to foxtrot oscar.

Stick to the specifics of what this means to Hull City, no party politics please.

Stop being like a school teacher OLM. It is party political. As you can see.

Broaden the scope for debate FFS.

The leader of ERYCC is sticking his nose in to a Hull City matter, what party he represents is completely irrelevant.

He is City fan who attends more matches than a lot on here who have plenty to say about City. As a fan he is entitled to give his opinion, certainly more entitled than Hull councillors and MPs who don't go to City but Who Hull people keep voting in for some reasons.
His opinion as a politician should be ignored as should others.

I know, but I just found the irony of the word "conservative" slightly amusing considering the circumstances.

He may have his right to opinion as a fan, but getting ERYC involved as a fan is outside his remit.

If he was just giving his opinion, then that would be fine, but he's not, he's putting forward a motion to a full ERYCC meeting, which makes it much more than just his opinion, he wants it to be ERYCC policy.

How can they have a policy to support a Hull business?

The club is owned by Allamhouse Ltd, a Melton based company.

It does seem a very odd thing to have a policy on though.

He should keep his nose out.

    As for moving to Melton?

Where in Melton would a new stadium be built exactly?

    He's got no chance.

If he did build a new stadium at Melton he could call the team what he likes as long as left City where they now.

I was told when Allam mentioned it, Parnaby was supportive of moving City to ERYC, but I wonder why Parnaby's timed this for now.

Can you imagine the consultation? There's fairly new houses in Ferriby with posters in the windows protesting against new developments. <laugh>

If there's uproar from the locals about a few houses going up can you imagine what it would be like if they looked at plonking a 35000 seater stadium there?

    GTF.

Parno is playing a dangerous game here.

Cllr Parnaby's belief is 50% of #hcafc pass holders come from the East Riding & AA should receive their full backing in running the club.

i hope they arn't using the council amenities

At least he's representing the views of the people who elected him.
