A Council representative said it was being filled in, if it wasn't they should have corrected that misconception, it's got bugger all to do with pitchforks.
It was posted on here what had been said as a possibility for Beverleygate, and that became a discussion; does it really mean that someone cannot post an opinion on that possibility just because there may or may not be other options, specified or not? In the uncertainty of what the future holds, is it not prudent or reasonable that like-minded individuals organise a low-key voice of concern and that some, not all, might chose to offer some alternative solutions, if a solution is deemed necessary? Is it reasonable that those individuals are labelled pitchfork carrying villagers? No more than it is reasonable to call someone a Scab, simply because they have an opinion that does not conform to yours.
Based on experience. Most are less brave in the real world. That wasn't meant to sound sinister btw...people are generally less gobshitey offline.
Without wanting it to drift much further, I think you're right. I've met a few off here, some have carried on the discussion, others haven't. What helps with talking off the board is that you don't tend to get others wandering up with sideways comments, and it's generally easier to clarify the point with conversation than with written text.
You used to post interesting stuff, what happened? Of course I didn't base my opinion on what was in the HDM and on here. The 'fill the gate' option wasn't offered up to generate debate and discussion. If they had wanted to generate debate and discussion they would have come forward with a number of proposals. It was probably the only option the half wits had considered. #bringbacktherealDMD
You're clearly determined to believe that no matter what anyone says. As it's no longer relevant anyway, as it doesn't reflect the current state of play, I'll leave you to it.
Great! As you've talked openly about about all the other options that will have been put forward as alternatives (glass floor excluded as that was dismissed) then you won't mind sharing them will you?
I do mind as it happens. Mainly because it's pointless, but also because some were vague concepts rather than a rigid process. What was the reaction to the suggestion you put forward to the Council for consideration?
