The goalie is the weak link, we usually allow very few shots on goal but whatever gets through usually goes in while it takes us 4-5 shots on goal to get a goal ourselves.
The defense doesn't concede goals - the team does. And I always thought that the lack of a strong center midfield pairing was where most of the problems were coming from. Our back four was under incessant pressure as a result. I agree with you about being over cautious. It has cost us a number of valuable points.
