Outside of the big nations is there a team that could shock the World and win the World Cup?

I quite fancy Chile to do well.

    England maybe? ;)

Agree that Belgium have a good shout.

Hope so anyway add I've ten quid each way on them when they were 20-1.

Colombia might go far but I can't see them winning it.

    My ROUND OF 16 Picks

    Brazil
    Spain

Both teams are favourites but judging the squad's quality and depth. hot climate and the grass will favour the hosts but Spain would win it.

    Colombia
    Italy

The Italians have a really tough test with Colombia, but ultimately advance 1-0 in a goal by Mario Balotelli in Extra Time.

    France
    Bosnia-Herzegovina

France to fully throttle Bosnia. Not bad for debutants to reach this far.

    Germany
    Russia

The Germans will trash Russia with probably with 3-nil goals.

    Chile
    Mexico

An exciting match but will give my trust to Chile because they just can.

    Uruguay
    Japan

Suarez leading his team with a double.

    Argentina
    Switzerland

The Swiss' defence could challenge Argentina. Nil deadlock on the first half and a late winner goal from Aguero. (sorry Messi fans)

    Belgium
    Portugal

Seeing Belgium to progress into the quarterfinals (towering Courtois, lukaku and Hazard in their promising squad) against C. Ronaldo's return to full fitness still in doubt.

These are solely my predictions and hopefully, these 16 teams will go through the group stages.

    What your picks? <cool> <cool> <cool>

I go for Argentina with Belgium as an outside bet....not entirely convinced with Brasil or Italy for that matter.
