Only the once ? It's not like Melbourne's on the other side of the world, You need to get your priority's right
Agree, seeing City in Europe at an iconic stadium like the Nou Camp or San Siro and beating Leeds (oh, hang on a minute that was a wet dream i had)
i think horsham is right too..youl never beat the local boy winning it with a 20 yard volley, it was pure roy of the rovers...
also the bristol fans were great after the game.my dad and his grandson were with me.never thought that day would come.
I remember getting the tube all the way back to where I'd parked up and I must have told myself 200 times " were in the premiership " It was a real shame for the Bristol fans though, I don't think they've been in the running since then.
next time we get there WILL be the best time for me seen as i was laid up in ward 33 in Castle Hill Hospital puking up while city wer playing in the play off final......arrgghhhhhhhhhhh.......did have it on the radio though... being going since my dad first took me in 1965 and i NEVER got to wembley.. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Scarbough tiger, I have great sympathy for you. Ward 33 castle hill is no place to be when the mighty tigers are playing at Wembley. The aforementioned Mr heratage missed out by being dead apparantly (info courtesy of Dutch Mountain Dog) E 18 poor lad, has let it slip that he does not wear the troosers in his house and had to make do with the canary isles. I myself was meant to be in Ibaza, doing my thing. Booked and paid. Needless to say Ibiza had to do without me. I doubt that day will be topped. As usual I may well be wrong.
I agree but having a wife and four daughters means in the words of Basil Fawlty another avenue of pleasure closed off.But i am confident we will be back soon.My old mans mate won 20 million on the lottery years ago,Terry Benson.Maybe that luck will come to me soon.
I was at the Emirites but I tried everything to get to Wembley but couldn't make the connections so had to watch it on TV in Lyon.. it was weird.. I went mental after the Deano goal but at the final whistle I just sort of slumped.. emotionally drained.. it was like finally we've done it.. something my grandfather never saw.. my brother-in-law went so at least I was "represented" by family!
I was at Wembley and the Emirates..... For me they were very different days, but with the same outcome. Wembley was a day out with the family, one of the most highly charged and emotional days of my life...... We were the fancied side going into the final and were almost expected to win. Arsenal on the other hand..... a fantastic day out and a party that went long into the night. Let's have more of those days under NP.
