Not going to happen. Hughton is here for the rest of the season and will be given a chance to get us back up ( if we go down).

Ah, the supreme irony - the man who takes us down against the odds is then rewarded by being tasked with securing our promotion!

I see Chelski have just ended Man city's home record, does the fact they've just lost bode well for us? Or does it mean we'll now face the back lash ?

No Aguero so that's something to cling to.

as he promoted Newcastle with 102points probably would not be a bad call for such a defensive mind!

It's one of the reasons he was brought in IMO. And therefore why we keep him.

Would also add that they kept the majority of their Prem squad whereas I think quite a few will go if we are relegated. His tactics for them are what he is doing now but they had a target man in Carroll who set up players and scored a few. I am not a big fan of Carroll but would have him over Wolfswinkel.

....but you would have to pay him £80,000 a week.

It would be cheaper just to have him doctored!

Perhaps a 0 - 0 draw at home to Man City could be achieved by "parking the bus"? West Ham achieved the same at Chelsea playing (and I quote) "19th Century football". We should be good at this: play 1 - 4 - 6 and "not f... loose" Expecting a minor stuffing and for CH to tell the Press that we were playing one of the best teams in Europe etc..........I suspect that the Board have not sacked Hootun as it will cost a few million in compensation, but can they afford not to? MOTD on Saturday was a revelation as Alan Hanson claimed that we would be alright if continued playing the way we played against Cardiff. I presume he was referring to the attacking play not defending!

Theres no way they will keep him if we go down, it will cause to much friction between the fans and club.

I think he'll be gone at the end of the season regardless, you need unity between the fans and the club and Hughton just does not have the charisma or attitude that people endear to and endorse.

I do not know anyone that believes in Chris Hughton, the evidence is just not there to give reason to. Everyone I speak to is just sick of watching rubbish.
