No, we do it for the benefit of the people of Hull.

The whole area is a ****-hole(other than the park and stadium), it generates no revenue and it's currently a completely wasted asset.

Perhaps it doesn't generate any revenue - but if it was sold, it would only generate revenue for Allam and/or the financing of footballers on £20k/week. I love Hull City - and I pay for my season pass etc... but I feel uncomfortable in being forced to lose an asset for the benefit of somebody on the Sunday Times Rich List. That 'asset' may be a '****-hole' now, but at least it could potentially be used in the future. Similarly, once given to Allam, he could end up using it for a giant Michael Jackson statue, or whatever.

He hasn't got a bottomless pit of money, he's already £66m down and counting, there's an opportunity here to take something that is realistically worthless and use it to generate a development that improves the area and creates jobs, which is supposed to be something the council should be encourage. Problem is, they've already screwed it up.

I know as well as anyone how difficult it is to deal with Assem, but I'd have done a damn site better job of it than that clueless muppet Geraghty.

In my idea, nothing is being 'lost' by the people of Hull, other than having to lease out part of a car park to be built on.

No-one would be paying over and above the cost of a season ticket - they would simply be committing to buy a season ticket for 10 years at a very discounted rate. The money raised by those 10-year debentures would be used for a modest 5,000 stand expansion.

The KC would still be owned as it is now. But Hull City would have the potential to increase their number of season ticket holders, make extra money from catering and other ancillaries, plus Dr Allam would have the potential to make money from the sports/retail/hotel centre on land he's been leased at a peppercorn by the council.

In return for the supporters faith, Dr Allam would be asked to commit to retaining the Hull City AFC name.

    Unfortunately the money is wrong.

We need 11m this season in order to keep us viable in the PL and Assem Allam has neither the money or the will to put it up.
Without PL football the club doesn't need an increased capacity.

It is IMO better for Assem Allam to have us back in the Championship next season. He can then at least recover his investment over the next two seasons.

It's actually too late for any Allam development to bring the money in to the club.

His only alternative is to secure either a full sale of the club, or to find another shareholder, who will look to invest.
