Thank you Proud Fox, but I think he is with a genuine up-and-coming club, and he knows it !

    Good luck next season

At least if he does go then there is money and space for a new manager to build a squad

I should probably know this but what sort of contract is Cotts on? Might get some compo if he should go. Don't get me wrong I would be disappointed if he went but Football is a fickle old world and I'm sure people will be screaming for him to go if we are near the bottom of the league in October and has he really done it at this level? If he went we should get some money and we can line up an out of work manager with experience of getting teams out of the Championship, Harry, Big Sam or Pearson anyone? I know people will recoil in shock at those names but didn't people do the same with Cotts? :emoticon-0130-devil

Imagine you were a bookie, people see someone at 2/1 and think must be a good bet put money on bookies done their stuff a satchel of money

put someone else at 2/1 and put original out to 10/1 2/1 must be good did fancy him another satchel of money, but the 10/1 well a few bob because peeps think he was fav so just in case etc by the time they finish with 6 fav's and a dozen been second or third fav they have minted it...

eg 3 favs at 2/1 all attract £1000 so they pay out £2000 but have collected £3000 = 33% profit and don't forget the profit from all those that had money on " just in case" they got the job!

Its also a big step to effectively go from L1 to the Premiership for any manager and LCFC would be taking a huge gamble in reality.

Really? Do you mean when he was at Forest?
He was not popular there, but to be fair he wasnt there for long enough to assert his style and build his own team, but it was starting to come together - and wasn't he replaced by SOD immediately after his Forest team thumped Leeds 7-0 at Elland Road?

I am sad to report that SC will be staying at BCFC as Lesta in their wisdom, decided to recruit another as their manager. Claudio Ranieri, mille grazie!!

You're not really sad are you cidered? Supporting BCFC and living by the sea clearly is not enough for you is it? Hope everything else is going your way and you must be getting excited about the new season because who knows perhaps there might be another trip to Wembley in the offing.

Not sad at all about Cotts not getting the Lesta job. Does the wind ever stop in Burnham?
    I'll send you a PM.
