I had a good drink with a couple of the old England rugby team, who shall remain nameless, one night several years ago now. I asked why it always kicked off between them and the French. They told me it was Brian Moore. Apparently, he can speak almost fluent French. What he was saying to them about their wives, girlfriends mothers, etc, was less than complimentary. The Froggies would lose their rag and kick off, and invariably give a penalty away.

I use to know Mickey Skinner (England Flanker) and he liked playing against the French as they were easily wound up.
I have heard others comments about Moore being a very good wum.
i was a loosehead prop and loved the Front Row Union - but all props agree that all Hookers are mentalists and are always looking to start fights - it might be a height/looks thing as they were all ugly dwarfs :)

Ah the joys of the amateur game. When that England team was at its proper hardest and often most violent, circa 90 - 95, they always seemed to have at least 3 old bill in the team <laugh>

Yet another trial by media. Expect Jose to come out with 13,743 instances where similar has gone unpunished, Costa still gets a ban anyway and the whole circle repeats next time round. Boring.

In my opinion Costa is a bit of a thick tvvat who would happily have a row with his own shadow. I can't bring myself to like the lad so I totally understand opposing fans disdain.

However, 2 years imprisonment, £30 billion fine and sloppy seconds from Cameron's pig for Diego will not remove the smug satisfaction of beating those soft ar5e Gooner vvankers.

To a man they thought they had us by the gonads because of our ridiculously poor form yet we still smash them a new one ......... just beautiful. :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I'll say no more than they weren't positioned very far from him!

A long overdue trial. I think Coquelin's injury had more impact than the sending off. I can understand being pleased with the result, of course, but the antics by Costa must grate a little?

So what your saying is Jose is likely to pull a Rafa?

I look forward to this very public meltdown and the follow up via John Terrys Carry on Book.

He has no shame. I'm sure you've noticed.

The clues in the club he supports <whistle>

I was at a do years ago and D'allalgio was the guest speaker. He told a story of how when he first started playing first class Rugby, as a lad, he was at a line out opposite Richards, who promptly elbowed in him the gob as they went up for the ball. He was told by the coaches that he had to hit Richards back asap, or he'd get no respect. Obviously, he was a tad skeptical about this but did as he was advised and lamped Richards at the first opportunity - Richards just smiled and nodded at him - he'd been expecting it!
