So the lower down the table the better value for money the squad is? I was not expecting to see Spurs there!
I think that Spurs have not spent a lot in the last 2 transfer windows but you have to consider their investments before that and the wages they are paying to get a true reflection on the value of each Premier league point.
The table also didn't consider the transfer balance so doesn't count teams recouping money spent.

In the telegraph today, its says qpr have run up a debt of 56.1mil since getting promoted! If I were a fan of them I would be seriously worried!
Spurs was surprising but look at us and swansea, about 1/5 cost per point for what QPR have got. Shocking!
Yes a good point.Although Liverpool have spent they pulled off the stitch up of the century on Chelsea with Torres.
How can they expect to keep hold if wright-phillips, zamora, cisse and others of they get relegated with that kind of debt?

We aren't shocked myour **** either mate.
Newcastle 10th for pounds per points this year and spend more per a point that Aston Villa. Find it hard to believe. Would have said Swansea and Norwich would be 20th and 19th.
