Didn't take me long to see through him. I asked him to suggest solutions to something rather than raking incessantly over the fact that the NC/NA junta hadn't been following his advice. Nothing doing. I looked through a few of his posts, put two and two together and realised that his contribution is just to whine and wind people up. Onto my ignore list and I'm now that little bit happier to come on here.
Yeah, we are in a relegation battle, we all know that. Three teams go down every season, and it's not because they all have bad managers, it's because there are 17 better teams. Even if we get relegated, Adkins is still a good manager and he'll bring us back up again. It's so easy to just blame the manager for every problem though isn't it.
For all the bleating about Gomarchinin he can say what he likes as long as he offends no one ,and I dont know if you have noticed but his threads receive masses of response in spite of the fact everyone threatens to blank him .If you think he is a WUM dont go there .Personally i dont engage if things start getting stupid but at the same time i dont feel we should all be holding hands agreeing and pretending everythings hunky dory.
Thank you Chaplow , my posts get responses , they have flavour , character and love . I very rarely am horrible in my posts but look at some of the others ? Have they been dragged up or brought up ?
Not everyone is holding hands and agreeing with each other, and we don't want that either. We have disagreements and debates on here every day, but now there are people who are being put off using this site because of one person who has no interest in debating properly, and is simply clogging up this site with his irrational, contrarian bullshit. He comes looking for a reaction and it's best if we don't give him one. Obviously you don't have to block him because it's possible to ignore him without doing so, but the ignore function is there for a reason. This is me debating you and politely disagreeing with your point by making my own logic-based argument. My head is entirely out of the sand. Not everything is "hunky dory", but some people are incapable of assessing the situation calmly and rationally. I'm not interested in reading the ramblings of those people.
I won't put him on a list Chaplow. I try and ask him for reasoned debate, however he can't do that. I have actually agree with him loads of times but when I ask him a qstion directly, he either ignores it or takes it off in a different direction. You have to push this slippery one really hard to get a straight answer. And to Mr Bailey, I am not one with my head in the sand, I am one who will stand loud and proud by the club supporting them through this. I prefer that to the pathetic whining some do.
I am wide awake. At the start of the season, I hoped we would finish 17th. I didn't really know if I believed we would. I do know that I will stay on the "bus", as you put it, and support my club through this difficult time. If we get relegated, there will be no "wake up" for me. I'm prepared for that as I always knew it would be a possibility, as I know now that we still may get out of this. I'm beginning to think that the really "Happy Clappers" (to coin someone else's phrase") are those that can only accept the team when they are winning more games than they lose. I stay with them through the good stuff and the bad stuff. Oh and how do you know Nigel is "only a good lower league Manager"? No one has seen him in the Prem for more than 8 games! Let's review that when he's had three or four seasons.
guessing your thinking of JWP as a no10, Shaw deserves a chance? really what has he done to deserve this? so this debate or slagging match started with you saying the formation yesterday was 4-6-0, why is yours so different apart from changing a keeper that was considered top 5 in the world with a 20 year old, giving a go to a 17 year old left back against two right sided players that played in Englands last game, dropping JROD for Rickie about half on here agree with, swapping Jos for Jose- really ? Jose and Joshi have the ability to build a good partnership, both are footballing centerbacks and bring the ball out well, whereas Jos is a no nonsense boot it in row z centerback.and letting a 17 try to create things aginst one of the best midfields in the league. See it is soooo easy to point fingers and say someone elses selection is crap

When was Boruc in the Worlds top 5 ? He was good 5/6 years ago in the SPL , in the Worlds top 5 ? I believe we gave a debut to a 16 year old left back did we not ? Jose Fonte is not as a good defender in my eyes as Hooiveld , sure he is a better footballer but they are not the same thing .
