So it was one of his dinners last night. Does anyone know what was said?

I heard that he is in consultation with the council with regards to the expansion of SMS or relocation for a capacity of 44k. As these sort of plans take time its good to start know but shows his intent.

Also wants to compete at the top end of the PL but with a high proportion of home grown talent. This has the effect of attracting some good prospects as they see a route to first team football, stability and a togetherness with other graduates of the academy.

Has anyone heard of other dinner news?
 
My brother wasn't actually at the dinner but he is in good contact and talks to people on so on!

I had chat with him an hour ago and word is Nicola is very open in what he says!

I will bullet point what he said as otherwise I will be here all day and you will have all fallen asleep!

- we are in preliminary stages of getting acceptance to increase the grounds attendance from 32500 up to 44,000 as written above as they would like that for once establishing ourselves back in the prem!!

-He said the reason there is feeling between Gus ( monkey boy) Poyet is that we interviewed him for the mangers role before opting with Nige!

-We are as well reported in early stage talks with Celtic over getting Jos and he expects that to be done!

- We are going to make a really big January signing but I have no idea who this is?

- and he said we met Rodrigues bit valuations didn't meet up somewhere, not sure what kind of valuations if it was wages etc!

Sounds all very interesting! Good time to be a saint!!!

If that is all true I am a very happy Saint! (Not that I'm unhappy now of course!)

In response to your enquiry, I thought I'd pop over to TSW to see how things are. My impression of a lot of the comments from people are that you'd expect Saints to be at the bottom of League One, instead of riding high on top of the Championship. They're still banging on about tickets and the bloody big flag. Get over it.

I don't believe that we wanted Gus as manager.
