I sign these petitions every time. The BBC is utter ****, Sky not much better. The problem is the BBC Charter runs until 2027, can they scrap it before then?

My 92 year old neighbour has just sent her cheque off to buy her licence, she says it doesn't bother her cos she can afford it but not every 90 year old can.

I can’t stand the bbc, I pay it but begrudge it so much, I’m convinced they murdered Jill dando before she exposed the peado ring
they have taken on loads of new Capita gestapo to pressure over 75 to pay licences. pensioners have been paying the BBC since its conception they are averaging 4 billion a year in licence fees, and are also being paid for old crap sold abroad but they advertise on foreign tv when the licence was for no adverts tv, but in germany there are as many bbc adverts as itv terrestrial tv in englandIt all went tits up when Terry Wigan died

I love the great British institution that is the BBC, and my only gripe is that the government influence is trying to ban any criticism of government and Trump even from comedians.

BBC used to be a world beater till they got political, supported ****s,took millions from charities like children in need, the list goes on, time to stop jail threats and let them go subscription if they think their product is good as its all repeats

The BBC has for a long time been in decline, little more than a refuge for talentless overpaid dynasties, the Cottons and Dimbelby's are perfect examples but there are many, many more, it was once a respected institution but is now little more than a tax funded imposition.

regardless of political views and 'sides'...i have always been of the opinion why should anyone be forced to pay for something they may rarely use while other, smaller companies can provide a better service for 'free'?
over recent years and all the complete bias/one sided news/**** cover ups etc i honestly wonder how such places are allowed to exist, unless 'their' style of news helps to cover for those in power, of course.
