Yes but the young lads aren't allowed to walk through the city centre because of the past actions of not their infantries but the British Army as a whole. Remember most of these people are young lads that played no part in the conflict here. Young lads from both sides of the community. Yet people who murdered others are working in Stormont, Mary McArdle a prime example. Who voted her in? A Sinn Fein member convicted of murdering the 22 year old catholic daughter of a judge outside mass on a Sunday.
These parades are only done to justify the actions of the British Government. Basically the public are calling us ****s for invading countries, and sick of soldiers getting killed for stupid shoite lets have a parade, get everyone cheering, those that dont will be chastised and called unpatriotic. and with any luck there will be a MAC demo that can be used propaganda all the way. no one gives a shoite about the soldiers really (apart from their families). Complete nonsense. When people don't agree with the war or the reason for being in it, they show support to the troops who are out there following orders. I take it all the people who come out and support the troops don't give a ****e? "If prison figures are correct most will be in jail as criminals" and what are these prison figures? You said those murderers were voted in by the people. She was brought in by her party, not the people. A convicted murderer and yet a bunch of young lads walking through the town is a big deal. Do you not see the hypocrisy in that? They had a gay rights parade through Belfast, I'm sure not everyone agrees with that but it still went on. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to go and watch it.
I almost feel I shouldn't but, och, **** it. Who ordered them to torture Iraqi civilians? Either they were commanded to (which means that the British Army purposefully tortures civilians in the 21st century) or they did it off their own back - either the institution is ****ed up or the "brave individuals". Offending rates for ex-servicemen are sky high - more British soldiers are in jail or on probation than are in Afghanistan (over twice as many in fact)

The institutions were negotiated by all the political parties and voted on by the people. Half of Sinn Feins assembly MLAs are ex prisoners. Did Unionists think that Sinn Fein would just disappear or discard all members who were in the IRA? At the time Sinn Fein told Unionists that was not going to happen. All the mealy mouth words from Unionist politicians were for the benefit of their voters. They know fine rightly there is nothing they can do. We have been through a peace process and nearly everyone has commited themselves to peace. This place will never return to how it was in the 50s. No one will be telling Republicans who they can and cannot employ or elect. That has zero to do with the British Army marching in Belfast. What the **** has a crowd of West Beruits parading through the city got to do with this? As far as I know they were not over in Afghanistan bucking the locals to death.
