What's happened to Boris Johnson is worrying because it shows it can happen to any of us. He had mild symptoms and went downhill very quickly. This virus doesn't discriminate; it's attacking the healthy and unhealthy alike. We're all at risk

Mild symptoms for a week then a bit of trouble breathing.

Any regular person calling the NHS with his symptoms would be shouted at for wasting their time and told to stay home.

My ex has exactly those symptoms, so she was told to self-isolate for a week then get back on the ward. They said they'd test her daughter or husband if they develop symptoms, but not her. Why? Lack of kits, but more importantly, they want her back in a week. It's now becoming clear - the NHS are deliberately not testing staff because they may have the virus, and they'd rather you were in the hospital dropping on your feet than at home isolating.

That's also why they don't care about giving health workers PPE. It's the herd immunity plan Hancock lied about.

But he also went around shaking hands with everyone he met and not following his own advice

And one more thing - after suffering breathing complications in hospital, the normal chucking out point is 95% oxygenation. Stealthily (certainly at the exes hospital in York), they've dropped that to 90%, and are even thinking about 87%. Also, they're not resuscitating ANY Covid patients who have a heart attack (which is many, I'm told) apart from a cardio-shock then walking away.

I wonder how many of those out tonight at 8 clapping remember, or care, when Boris so spiritedly applauded this?

This **** brings my piss to a boil, for years the NHS has been attacked, undermined and misused by the Tories, while the vast majority of the electorate stood by and did **** all.

But now standing on their doorstep and flapping their hands together like a ****ing seal is supposed to make it all ok.

You only have to look at Boris to see he doesn't take care of his own health. No doubt he will be getting the finest medical attention available,
unlike the vast majority of the population.

He was shaking hands with every bugger before this thing really kicked off. Just goes to show the advice to social distance is a sound one. To be fair though about the medical attention like it or not he is the PM. I'm not a Tory by any means and he's a wally but I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Neither would I Wishi (not even a Tory <whistle>) but the fact remains he and his kind will receive better care than most of the great unwashed.
And that is unacceptable and deeply immoral

Saint's fan here.

I just wanted to say that I feel very proud of, and greatly appreciate, all of you fans that pressured the owners of Liverpool FC to pay the club staff as normal. Good on you guys and girls for doing the right thing.

No matter what happens to this season, Liverpool FC are worthy champions.

Keep safe and well everyone, and wishing you every success and good health for the future.

So Johnson will recover from his slight loss of breath from being an overweight alcoholic because he is a "fighter"

Presumably those who died just didn't fight hard enough

As far as all other reports go, Covid-19 does not present as mild symptoms for over a week, then difficulty breathing that is resolved in less that 48 hours. Seems it was all a lie.

Well, St Thomas' is an NHS hospital and the bloke has paid his stamp. He won't be the only one in there.

I don't envy the poor nurse having to bed bath him, though! <laugh>

Speaking of the great unwashed and not touching your face, I haven't worn make-up for over a fortnight! <yikes> Not that I need to, but you know... :)
