It doesn't matter how much badgering Labour, Lib Dems, SNP et al do about this, they can't do anything to shift Boris. The only people who can kick him out are his own. They will decide if he goes or stays, and they will probably be led by trying to gage public opinion rather than any moral stance.

I don't like Boris, but as someone who is left-leaning I think we could do a lot worse with a replacement in terms of policies and direction. Boris isn't a conservative. He's a popularist. There are some fairly radical right-wingers in the list of people who could replace him.

Absolutely agree with you mate, some on here really won't like his replacement, despite wishing him gone.

I'm honestly not sure which way this is going to go, but as Saff pointed out today and I've said before, if the back benchers do turf him out, then that will make the Tory position stronger, so it's like cutting your nose off to spite your face from an opposition point of view.

I know people don't like Boris, but the way to cause most damage to the Tories is by keeping him as PM.

People will remember the hurt, but they will forget very easily it was the Tories if things change....it's like anyone in a new post, chuck all the rubbish on the person before, easiest way to clean the slate.

Hence because of the above, I think Boris' time is done.
The best popcorn replacement would be Mogg, the man is actually intelligent and would laugh off the opposition like Starmer and Raynor.
Smug bastard but would love to see PMQs with him up front <laugh>

Fooking hell, could you imagine the fall out if Mogg became PM, it would certainly make for great popcorn <laugh>

I don't like Mogg or that other little weasel, so it's the best way to stop me voting Tory again but fook me would I play it on here, if either of them were PM haha.

Boris getting a proper haircut was genius tbh. he could literally dry slap the queens arse after ploughing her rigid on newsnight now and be cool.

So how would you guys vote in another GE?

Me...

At the moment, I wouldn't vote.

I've said on here already, I'd be interested in any party, that done something about knife crime, and I want to see a specific plan for it, not just words. Also anyone that does something regarding the cost of energy NOW and in the future. Then everything else in the normal order, NHS etc.

I think we are going the wrong green path with transport and all electric, I would have preferred hybrid, but we are stuck with it now, I think, I just don't feel this has been thought through properly.

Anyone that mentions remain, will NOT get my vote. I'm happy for Scotland to have another referendum.

Personally I think it's a straight toss of the coin between Tories or Labour or nothing, I don't trust the Libs, but I will listen to what they have to say as I will with any other party, EXCEPT right wing extremes ie BNP etc.

Treble can fook off.

Depends, if it's boris still in charge, then i will probably vote for whoever is most likely in my district who isn't boris.

Else i'll do what i normally do and not vote cause i'm too lazy

TBF there is only the Tories, anyone else and the country is ****ed.

They just need to cut down the "boozy party's" so there is no actual claim against them from opposition. The worst knife crime is in London under a Labour Mayor and rainbow crossings are costing a fortune <laugh>
I won't mention TFL :bandit:

Probably stay out of illegal wars too with the Tories but will fight if need to.

If i voted, i may one day still **** can happen, but if i did id vite fir someine who didnt go to one of the 3 little posh **** schools that they've all come from the last 150 years or so.

Ya know a normal person, who knows what its like to live normally, with normal people problems and experiences of using the services run by government for the people.

Someone who knows what its like to be on the other end.

Theres plenty of mps from state schools and normal upbringings, why do they never get near the big jobs? Honest question?

Cos its fuking gang and you and me and mp from hackney state school aint invited namean:emoticon-0165-muscl

Local elections rarely get the same vote from me as General.

One is on a personal level with me wanting someone to fight for the area, the other is for a wider view who will keep the country running and hopefully on the up.

Slipped up there agent Bobby <laugh>

Yeah, the state of the government is all Labour’s fault.

You ****ing cretin <doh>

<laugh>

Very constructive of you. Labour is a mess mate, that's why the red wall fell. Never mind mate, you never know, IF you are lucky, sort of like winning the lottery lucky, you might see another Labour government in power before we pop our clogs, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
