I feel like the BBC and Labour are shooting themselves in the foot with this by ramping up all this pressure.
Remove Boris and you unite the Tory party. A united and strong Tory party is more or less guaranteed to beat Labour in an election. Keep him in power and Labour will walk the next election.
I personally think he'll be gone by this time next week now.

Sometimes it's for the greater good. Boris is a rotten apple at the heart of the Tory party and British politics. He's a big fat reason why people continue to think politics and all politicians are corrupt when that's not true, not in the Tory party, Labour or others. There's a lot more damage he can do in the next 3 years and that's more important.
And there has to be accountability again in British politics. It's been missing for a while and long overdue.
The question is who takes over if he goes. If it's someone like Preeti or Truss the country's fcked. If it's someone like Javed or preferably someone outside of this cabinet, with a bit of calibre then the country can move forward.

Boris isn’t the first corrupt politician…that’s their default start position as far as I’m concerned then they prove otherwise. He’s taken the piss during sensitive COVID times so folk are rightly outraged but they are all sly and opportunists…that’s why they in the game

When Biden got into office, he claimed he was the man to reunite the people, the party for everyone, Democrats and Republicans, which all sounded nice after the events at Capitol. A party for the people.
But have you noticed, he's now taken to slagging Trump off, albeit not in name. This will create division again, demonstrating no mistakes have been learned.
If Biden continues this road, it will end badly for him, and very badly for the American people.

I voted Boris in for two reasons...
1) I was becoming frustrated and angry at all the other parties attempting to overturn our democratic vote on Brexit. I still haven't forgotten or forgiven them for that one. Brexit was largely a vote by the working class and all other parties were trying to screw us over.
2) The alternative was Jeremy Corbyn and an extreme left wing Labour party.
Even knowing what I know now, I'm not sure I'd vote any differently if I could go back in time. I have been voting LD in the local elections lately. I'm going to continue with them because they're great for my village. I'm not going to bother voting in a GE. I think they're all rotten to the core.

The whole Brexit thing was a shambles imo. I think people were misled about what it would actually mean for our economy, trade, jobs, freedom of movement, fishing rights, etc. I think we stand to lose far more than we’ve gained. But you’re right, it was a democratic vote and you have to honour the result.
As for Corbyn, I think he probably represented the best opportunity to change the direction of politics for the working class in a generation. Taxing the rich, making Corps pay their tax and nationalising thei public infrastructure would have protected the ordinary man and made those who have been creaming off the profits for themselves, pay their fair share.
But, that is all water under the bridge now and we are where we are.

The best known full meeting by the leadership of PIRA and UK Govt occurred at Paul Channons house in London . The Govt delegation was led by Willie Whitelaw and the British flew in the PIRA delegation headed by Sean McStofian / John Stevenson which also included Gerry Adams who was taken from internment in Long Kesh specifically for the meeting .
