Apparently his exemption excuse is that he's tested positive within the last six month.

He's lucky the Aussies didn't stick him in one of their little islands somewhere.

Homeland security are twitchy as ****. Don't remember needing any written confirmation at the border, but they defo want to know where you're staying, for how long, with whom and why you're there. You also have to fill out and be accepted on the ESTA before you travel

Remember flying into LAX and getting fukin grilled by the dude at passport control. He was like, where are you going ? Where is that ? Why are you going there ? Who are you going with ? How long are you staying there ? I was doing a house swap on that trip with a couple from Ojai near Ventura. When I told him he was like 'Sir, are you trying to live as an illegal in this country ?!' as he didn't get the concept of a house swap. Made me sweat like Prince Andrew before he let me in.

Last time I flew into JFK though it's all automated. As long as you've had your ESTA accepted, it's Iris recognition at passport control and the whole thing is done by computer. Which kind of surprised me as I thought New York would be the strictest place to get into.

didn’t notice that. I thought all football was cancelled because Klopp cried about injuries and him getting Covid?
 
Mentioned it before, and see that others have done likewise. But the whole ‘choice’ issue that lots of anti vaxxers cite.

Yeah, you have a choice. You can either choose to follow the rules or choose to have your freedoms restricted.
