What’s the correlation between the isolation period and death stats?

You know fine well why they ask those who’ve tested positive to self isolate, if not, where have you been for nearly 2 years ffs

No it patently doesn’t mean that. They actually brought that 28 day measure in, as they said it brought us in line with other nations, as we were recording all COVID deaths daily irrespective of how long it took them to die, but it made our figures look worse, at a time they were about the worst around.

So why do you only have to isolate for 10 days if you test positive?

I'd hazard a guess that it might be to help stop the spread of the disease.

Great news! So it loooks like we are going into full lockdown on December 19th according to this

There's no way we can be going into lockdown (like last year) before Xmas...People will ignore it.

They let 50,000 watch West Ham, 50,000 watch Liverpool, 40,000 watch Chelsea and will allow 60,000 watch Spurs on Sunday. To then say that people can't have Christmas dinner with adult kids or grandparents or parents etc will create out rage.

I have had my jabs, have avoided crowded spaces, have always worn a mask in shops etc so tbh there ain't a hope in hell that I ain't spending time with my daughter's or my other half's parents or my mates (if WE feel it is safe to).
If I'm like that then they is ****ed if they attempt another lockdown this side of Xmas.
