What do you lads reckon? Pubs closed by the weekend anyway, so passport not apply

I think people would have to be dropping dead in the street to whack it up to level five or whatever would be needed for that. He’s made the big announcement about boosters now, much to the surprise of those somehow expected to carry them out, while no **** can get a lateral flow test today. It’s up to the plebs to avoid dying now.

They are just slowly building noise towards lockdown announcement on Friday

We've been to this dance before. Would rather we just went into lockdown now and get on with tbh

Sport will be decimated

Talking to the landlord in my local a few weeks back, he reckons the rumours in the pub trade are, there will be a 1 or 2 week lockdown in January.
They got it wrong, masks in shops and PT but not in pubs, restaurants etc..

If the world is gonna close for business every single time a new variant pops up, when's this **** gonna end?

Or gyms which I find a bit odd but grateful for.

The UK doesn't have a culture of security firms watching over bars and stuff like here in Scandinavia.

Instead of closing things we just stand and watch making sure people don't stand up and always wear their masks if they do, basically just treat em like kids.

Wales may need to reimpose curbs on people socialising in response to the Omicron variant of coronavirus, according to the chief medical officer.

We pretty much obeyed the rules last Christmas, if they reimpose them again this year, we won't be as strict, nothing reckless but not doing that again
