Had my booster on Thursday and have felt pretty **** since. I don’t know if it’s side effects or a coincidence that I’ve got a cold at the same time

Yup, he really did say that, although he said blue collar worker, rather than working class, but it still amounts to the same, someone that gets their hands dirty.
The full quote reads:
“And that brings me to the last and greatest group of male culprits. Most of these single mothers have had the common sense to detect that the modern British male is useless.
“If he is blue collar, he is likely to be drunk, criminal, aimless, feckless and hopeless, and perhaps claiming to suffer from low self-esteem brought on by unemployment.
“If he is white collar, he is likely to be little better.”
Just had a letter at work reminding us of our responsibilities at Christmas. Watch alcohol consumption and to avoid Covid situation. Our duty to remain safe and protect others at work!
which means, we are busy in January so we need you at work.
reported to HR by 7 people already as not acceptable.
My view.
I’m not in work, so they can’t really expect to comment/try to push what.

I tend to think they are generally sent out just as a reminder of employee responsibilities, as Christmas time was the one time of year, when problems occur. Especially as I said around alcohol, seems from what you say, that's now also being extended to virus responibilities, unlike those at number 10 of course.![]()
How times have changed. My first job would see the owner at the bar as his 150 plus employees turned up for the xmas party. Free bar, he would make sure you had a proper drink (shot) to start the day. and leave once all were sorted. Would pay for damages and then book the following years alternative venue if we were asked not to return.
