A related group, the Scientific Pandemic Insights Group on Behaviours team, warned at the start of the first lockdown that a “substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened [by Covid-19].”

“The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging,” the group added, leading to numerous lurid propaganda campaigns that exaggerated the threat of COVID to bully the public into total submission.

One day history students will look back on this time and conclude that Right Said Fred were flying the flag for truth and justice all along.

imagine having to start a segment with publicity, have they no shame. Does the bald one still stick to the story that he was admitted to hospital for a fall and not because he had problems due to covid? Should have stayed home, will be like a cold come spring

What are ew doing about the covid passport/pass in Wales. Don't let your sheeple walk into this, you need to hammer it out

I never said you did. I asked you a question. Would you be happy for the vaccine to be mandatory?

You then needed to word your question differently. The vaccine is not mandatory and shouldn't be. Think we have established that it is a personal choice, not see one government make having it so

So if its no conditions in place one way or the other I should be free to do as I like as I would have pre covid

I think what I find all crazy about this Abe, is there is plenty of things where I would be on your side, so to speak. I think we have sleep walked into a digital society, where the government, the police and businesses can virtually access untold amounts of data about you. So in the same way, it's the same argument, the control of passports, limiting where you go, even discussions of making the vaccine mandatory. I think where it lost the debate for me, is it just focused on one thing, covid. Covid in reality should be a very small part of what's gone on over the last four decades, because there is four decades of changes to our everyday lives that has been forgotten about more or less, yet we make two years of covid the primary topic. And tbph with you mate, that's why I'm out. I think your arguments about football is a valid one, but like the covid debate, it's been approached from the wrong angle.

Maybe peej can stop repeating the same old lies and we be starting to get somewhere.

Natural immunity wins but n2d2 and all that jazz....... 3rd jab 4th jab where does this stop fauci looking at 5-11 year old now ffs...... ...they have almost zero chance of dying from covid and the same chances of passing it on as are the vaccinated.

I have nothing to do with politics dude that's for morons who pretend government still works for you and not for capital gains for capitalistic investment firms

I suppose it’s how you define ‘personal choice.’
If the option is either take the vaccine or lose your job, is that really a personal choice?
My opinion at the moment is this:
Vaccines clearly prevent hospitalisation and death, they are working very very well.
They do not appear to be reducing transmission whatsoever. More than happy to be proven wrong on that one by the way. Surely someone who has a negative test is far safer to the vulnerable rather than someone who is double jabbed? Why not leave the option for us to just provide a negative test?
