He can hold any belief he wants tbf, I don't think there's much wrong with that.

What makes him deluded is that he shuts down mentally as soon as he's faced with anything that questions those beliefs. It's a defence mechanism with him. To the point where he'd rather choose to look ridiculous than engage, and actually consider himself better for it. Tragic.

Do you literally never check the veracity of what you post as being ‘fact’?

Firstly, I’ve heard of ‘Dr’ Young before, and he isn’t a Dr. In fact he did time in 2017 for practising medicine without a licence. What the man is, is a con man, a true snake oil salesman. Claims his alkaline diet cures cancer, only it doesn’t & he lost a $105m lawsuit a few years ago when a poor woman who’d been taken in by his bullshit became terminal after his ‘treatment’.

In terms of COVID the US authorities got onto his grifts early doors.
