Calm down.

You don't have to get vaccinated.

You don't have to get your kids vaccinated.

Just grab a beer and carry on with your life. All this stuff won't do you any good. Focus on something else. Maybe start doing jigsaws or something.

Going by current news stories, as I've got nothing else to measure it by, but it appears we are brewing up problems for the coming Autumn/Winter months, the question now is when do they implement plan A, yes they do have one, and what's the chances of resorting to plan B.

It's all the big unknown again, but I saw some story that was when do we do something, once we get to 7,000 hospitilisations a day. I understand there is currently 6 million people unvaccinated, if I've been listening correctly, what I don't know is that just adults?

Rather than keep banding about figures such as 7k a day, which don't really mean a lot to me, can't they do a daily comparison, figures pre pandemic versus figures post pandemic, it would certainly make it easier for people to understand, rather than scare banners, that on face value mean nothing.

Only thing I want to see Boris bin is these charges for tests when you go on holiday, it's creating a have and have nots.

My honest opinion now is life must go on and return to normal.
Everyone above a certain age or with under lying problems have been offered the jab, now we let nature take it's course. People have made choices and can't be forced into help so should have to live or die by their decisions, why overload hospitals with people who can't fend off a bit of flue with their own immune system. Get back to helping people who need it like genuine sufferers of cancer and other diseases.

I just fear another spanner is going to be thrown in to the works, my other fear is it will create civil disobedience. I was listening to someone earlier today, and they were saying yeah but let's be patient for a few more months to keep us all safe - but the problem is they've been saying oh only a few more weeks, since the beginning of the year. I'll accept it under certain conditions, give and take, and one is he needs to bin off these mandatory tests or make them free, nowt gets my back up more than someone trying to fleece me.

Enough time has passed and the cost has been horrendous financially for the whole and in many cases mentally.
I feel we have done what we can and sometimes nature wins (for a reason). We need our lives back and those that have taken precautions (been vaxxad) are about as protected as they are going to be, those that haven't bothered because the internet told them not to will never change and have made their choice.,

As an aside, i have had two jabs but have never had a single test, never been asked (forced) to or seen a reason to. Have had a temp gun pointed at my head a fair few times when entering a site though <laugh>

Regarding life returning to normal. I don't know about the UK, or even US as a whole... I do know the place I work is still consistently over 90% beds occupied... And that's with some precautions being taken.

Don't be mistaken. 90% full is full, it's impossible to function properly with 100% taken. Even with 90% occupied there are delays getting people into beds. People die, even ones who don't have COVID because resources are stretched.

Maybe UK is further along now with more beds open... I know where I am, that if things "returned to normal" lots of people would die... Not just from COVID but from anything requiring hospitalization.

The problem is, it don’t work like that. Those who’ve chosen to leave themselves vulnerable will still be treated and if needed taking up ICU beds, which in turn can delay major surgeries that require an ICU bed to be available before the op can commence.

Masks, worki MF from home and social distancing are the only powers it seems the government will retain.
If they open up and just let nature take it’s course, then people will be unhappy, same if they don’t.
It’s a lose, lose situation for whoever and will have an impact on a section of society that will be seen as unfair by all except those who won’t get a vaccination.

Just signed the form for my daughters flu spray.
Told them, I’m coming round with the hammers if you think you are making my daughter safe!

You must log in or register to see images

And if they are going to save her from the higher complication risk for Covid than the side effects of the jab, well I’m going with a leaf blower!

It looks like the girl at the back is pulling the little girl at the fronts hair <laugh>
Bullied into getting the jab indeed!!

The testing charges have come right down now. I paid £230quid at beginning and had one done on drive through at airport this time for £50 quid.

Thought about just pretending I had symptoms and getting one free on NHS.

Girl in back and boy look happy. Girl in front looks likes she is scared but being forced to smile.

It's almost as if Prince Andrew is naked in the room saying "smile for my birdie or I'll spank you."

Just had a text to go for my booster jab ffs! <yikes>

I called up but it turns out they are running drop in's for the next few days, they mush have a **** loads of spare Pfizer.

Not standing in any queue for it, thanks, so will wait till i get a firm appointment. No rush whatsoever.

My kids still aren't having it by the way and yes, I can ****ing stop them. They are my children.
