The issue isn’t how generous the PMs allowances are; the issue is wether the current PM broke the law and lied to Parliament.
The bigger issue is that under this lot the ministerial code means **** all, and they’re doing as they like as a result, making bent lobbying, contracts for mates, bungs and corruption far more likely. The new head of the civil service is a stooge, and Johnson simply overrules or has a new narrative written, for any inquiry he doesn’t like the result of.

It the flat cash issue was straight, he’d simply take 2 minutes to share the details and put it to bed, as it is, he did his usual obsfucating, waffle and deflection and the electoral commission has now picked it up.

I'll post this again......2 month breakdown where 1billion pound was spent.

Covid firms linked to religious cult
A number of companies awarded Covid contracts reportedly have links to the fundamentalist Exclusive Brethren (EB). Unispace Global Health was awarded £240m for PPE (overalls), £103.7m for the supply of protective gloves and £113.95m for face masks, totally more than £450m. CEO Gareth Hales’ father is fundamentalist EB world leader Bruce Hales.

Other companies who were awarded contracts and which are reportedly linked to EB or its network include: Tower Supplies (£40m), Techniclean Supply Ltd (£20m), Blueleaf Ltd (£4m), Denka UK (£348,000), Accora Ltd (£248,000), ToffeIn Ltd (£4m), Oska Care Ltd (£338,000), and Medco Solutions (more than £10m).

The EB receives support from Conservative MP Peter Bone and former Conservative MP Charlie Elphicke.

Yeah basically people have a choice of living in a worthless fire hazard or paying a fortune for something that is in no way their fault. Very clearly something that should be covered by the government who then could reclaim some or all of it from developers but why upset the developers when you can lump it onto the serfs?

no idea what serfs are, not often i watch the news, but i just thought wtf/

why do common people have to go broke to live in safety.

How much would they have had to rob for Blair to become Emperor of Earth do you reckon?

Emperor was a joke but Blairs ambition was to be President of Europe

Blair and Bush should be rotting in jail as war criminals for the Iraq war and the aftermath from that

Brown changed the Pension Fund tax rules which resulted in a £5-6b per year loss to the Pension Funds

Brown also sold off the gold reserves
