I'll write it here save the suffering of another thread....
I've listened to all the 'sleaze claims' and rebuttles, but to me there seems to be something seriously missing on all sides of the political house and even the media, in regards to the refurbished flat.
Questions such as, was it your money, was it a loan, was it a tory donation, yeah yeah I could go on. There has been speculation that the cost was either a mere £30,000 right up to the much larger sum of £200,000.
What gets me, no one has said HOW MUCH?
There's a reason that those sort of figures are not mind boggling to people, it's because it's accepted practise who's ever in power, that it's ok to spend that sort of money, they've all got their noses in the trough.
I couldn't give a shhite if it was only £10k spent on it, it's still too much, when people are going to food banks. And the guy that banned Starmer from the Bath pub the other day (or whereever it was), as he said, you don't ask the right questions.
I believe this is some regular expenditure that's allowed on the flat, what £30k! If so, it's not Boris that Starmer wants to worry about, it's the fooking rules that even allowed it!
Ok this is out the SUN, after I googled the question, 'how much is the PM allowed to spend on the flat' - the answer....In accordance with the rules surrounding expenses and salaries of politicians, prime ministers are entitled to a maximum public grant of £30,000 a year for the upkeep of their home.'
£30k A YEAR FFS. Fook off to B&Q like everyone else did during the pandemic.
