It's on TV now, in the latest update. So I also googled it, and people have found links being shared on social media.

Edit: <doh> yer shhite :cheesy:

<laugh>

In a way it's positive that people appear to be in a rush to have it than believe the bullshit it's a reptilian 5G takeover and not wanting it.

Yeah good point actually, even if it's a morally wrong queue jump. Personally I'll wait my turn, i've got to go back into hosp at sometime, and I see myself as no more important than 4.5 million other people. It is what it is, reality. I probably wouldn't go into hospital until i was offered the vaccine now anyway, even if invited, especially after seeing it spread like wildfire in hospital environments.

The thought of getting quicker than I need to hasn't even crossed my mind but that's thankfully down to not being in a high priority group because if you are you really should want it as soon as possible. My dad's had it last week. My mum hasn't and she's not even been called yet. That is more pressing on my mind than me... and even then I'm not overly concerned as I expect it will happen soon enough. Agree with what you said earlier, just wait your turn.

So what put your dad ahead of your mum, would I be right in assuming age / health?

Changed my mind and having my first jab tomorrow.
Good lad. A lot of people your age have been quite ill for the first 24-48 hours after the jab, apparently it affects us young guys a lot more than the oldies.

Got a 'thank you' letter from work today with mention of a tough year etc and offering a free drink and a day off

Bit cheesy tbh but the free day off is a nice touch which I'll gladly accept.

Anyone seen @BobbyD lately?

According to SKY News this man only crime is he left his home to go for a walk, during lockdown....so they did what all normal people do in that situation and tied him to a tree... <laugh>

i once received some certificate from work "celebrating" the fact that i hadn't had a day off sick for a year . My boss who by coincidence was visiting my site that day was there when i opened it and seemed surprised when i just lobbed it in the bin .I tried to explain that i hadn't been off sick because i hadn't been err sick but if i was i wouldn't be coming into work .

mind you i'd have had the day off in a flash <laugh>

My mam and dad both had Covid and have now had their injection .
They said they are feeling shocking a couple of days after it .
Mam said the side effects makes it feels like she has it again
