TBF, what should he have done. What would Starmer have done differently?

Overall? ... I think he would have taken much more heed of medical expert advice from the outset and he would not have 'infiltrated' SAGE with the likes of Cummings ... Starmer's whole career is about the weighing up evidence himself or consulting with experts ...

If you mean at this point in time ... then I don't think he could do anything different right now.

I was at a small retail park in Bedfordshire yesterday at the time that Boris made the announcement... I left about 40 mins after ... was fairly busy when I had arrived ... took me ages to drive out due to the log jam caused by God knows how many cars trying to get in at that point ... madness ... but 7 hours to visit the non-essential retail outlets causing massed panic ...

I hope all of those right wing ‘libertarian’ ****s who’ve been writing articles in the papers, posting on SM, hosting radio shows etc, since the Summer, telling people the pandemic was ‘over’. That masks were unnecessary and lockdowns were a ridiculous breach of our civil liberties, all hang their ****ing heads in shame today,

I was only thinking earlier, I wonder how long it’ll be before someone somewhere tries to blame this new strain on migrants ........it didn’t take long, the Leeds board delivered. Can’t even.

I will question something Matt Hancock said on SKY's Sophie Ridge this morning.

His words were that they did not find out about the new strain until last weekend. I'd have suggested that is either a lie, or you are not communicating with the science.

Before I saw the Sophie Ridge interview some professor stated on SKY again, that they knew about the first case of the new strain in September. Fair enough, because at that point, the new strain was still under the science, but by October, I don't know what date, but let's say for argument sake the *31st Oct, it had been identified.

So the science knew and verified the knew strain on *31st October, but the government didn't know until the 12th & 13th Dec....fook off, that's bullshitte.

Whitty said last night they’d known about it since September, but couldn’t completely verify it until October. The idea that the Govt didn’t know about SAGE’s concern about this new strain until last week, is therefore verifiable bullshit.

I'm surprised Sophie Ridge didn't challenge him (Hancock) on it, unless she didn't do her research beforehand, which is poor journalism if the case, as it seems to have been.

I must admit, when I saw Boris making his statement yesterday, I don't know if you had noticed the body language of Whitty, but he was looking incredibly smug, as if 'I told you so Boris.' Which is all well and good, but this ain't a game and Whitty should have kicked his arse publically.

History will long remember the Battle of Medway. When thousands of kamakazee lunatics gave up their lives for fck all.

Countries starting to block travel from the U.K.

France, Holland, Germany, Israel, Italy and Ireland already called it, the EU to discuss a unilateral response tomorrow.

France also stops all trucks flowing either way for the next 48 hrs.

World beating.

It's fooking crazy, the virus (new strain) will already be in the rest of Europe, it's like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. The transmission rate in London is 62% new contagion. Kent and Medway were worst affected, Kent is the gateway to Europe, it has 10,000 lorry crossings per day, 5k each way. The new varient has been around a minimum of one week, how many thousands of crossings were made to the EU during that period. They ain't stopping nothing, this is a runaway freight train. Rule Brittania! <laugh>

Were a tiny island, it's a new strain (not a mutation). It got here from somewhere like the first one did so a bit late for the mainland to cut us off now <laugh>
