It smacks of playing to the gallery... PR over common sense. There's a real lack of leadership or substance about the handful of idiots in charge.
Getting a bit annoyed this morning reading comments from people who'll either refuse to be vaccinated or wish to wait and see. One of my best mates is in the refuse camp and so we won't be holidaying together as families in the future unless he changes that stance.
Thoughts from the forum please ?
I’m in the wait and see camp. If I’m unable to travel without it, then I will have to.Getting a bit annoyed this morning reading comments from people who'll either refuse to be vaccinated or wish to wait and see. Fair enough...it's unlikely you're up to my standard on the slopes anywayI’m in the wait and see camp. If I’m unable to travel without it, then I will have to.
Vaccines are tested for a good number of years before being rolled out. No long term effects are going to be found within 10 months of testing. That’s how I see it.
Therefore @Jammy 07 , I don’t think we should holiday with each other for a while.

No it's going as expected...fascinating given the ages of most of us on here.
Personally I like the sound of the Oxford/Astra Zenica one the best in terms of risk, but that's based on the most basic of research. As you say it's always best to seek out the advice of qualified professionalsAt the moment, I would have the jab, I expect I'd be made to have it anyway, as I have to go back into hosp.
However, if after the first million have been vaccinated, if people start popping their clogs, or getting enormous growths on their head, then I may reconsider.
But seriously, my main reason, I like to travel, so needs must.

It seems that exactly the same people who are crying their eyes out about the lockdown, are also adamant they won’t take the vaccine. Go figure. Bill Gates or something probably.Getting a bit annoyed this morning reading comments from people who'll either refuse to be vaccinated or wish to wait and see. As for the general populous, personal choice I suppose. I can understand why some would be dubious of such a quickly developed vaccine, but it’s about balancing risk imo. If you’re in a risk group or elderly you’d be plain daft not to have it imo.
Oi! Rustlers was part of my university diet!Yeah I can understand people being sceptical about what gets put into them but not when they’re the people who shag drug dealers and eat Rustlers.
