I thought I heard something that it only needs to be stored at that temp if you want to keep it more than a week. Although that just leads to more questions, can it be stored at that temp until arrival at the GP's then left out in a lesser temp, as long has it is used within a week. Ie drip feed the GP's with supplies a week at a time. What happens to the dose after a week, does it become less effective, non effective. How do we know if the dose has protected us and the batch given was fit for purpose.
They reckon that if the temperature dropped below -80 or whatever it is then the vaccine would be okay to use for 5 days from that point.

So the vaccines could be delivered into surgeries (in the future) on a Monday and be alright to use all week. Gunna make sure I get my jab from Mon-Wed.

My old man has just rang me and him and my step mam have tested positive, this morning. One of the carers brought it into the home. My step mam gets 24hr care as she's severely disabled following a brain tumour. He's worried sick about her, of course, but he's over 20 stone now. I'm worried about them both.
Hope everything turns out fine for them & you Saf .

A trip to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden has been on my to do list since I used to work on the market there 30 plus years ago. Just to see it - not sure I want to hear some fat bird warbling for three hours.
