I went in a Starbucks just off a Piccadilly the other day. They asked if I was going to have my coffee inside, to log on to the free WiFi, which would apparently register me to be traced if required.

I have absolutely zero confidence in any of these measures working in the way they should. I used the WiFi anyway, as no password needed, so ****it, why not?

There is no support for check-out process only check-in. You're officially at the last place you visited until midnight.

The whole midnight thing reminds me of Gremlins.

What happens if they close 6pm?

What happens if you go in, then leave, then go back in again later?

And what happens if someone splashes you with water?

I did wonder if this was coming for the whole of the UK. I seriously think this has been done in Wales, aside from just half-term but to prevent Halloween and Guy Fawkes gatherings, I think it's not being lifted until the 9th November.

Had hoped outdoor activities would slip though but seemingly not. So, kids are literally house bound.

Great plan that. Drakeford just has to do something different, the senile old ****.


Anyway, NHS and all that so the line must be toed.

Have they not invented chargers in Wales yet?

I downloaded it and have it on and scanning. They probably think the GPS on my phone is ****ed.

The Indonesian App is much better - tells me how many people are positive in the area I am in, how many are in hospital and how many have died etc and how many I have been in close contact with. Even includes useful information like burial procedures.

Can't be arsed charging my phone all the time I expect it to last all day.
