I don't know why the Governments of the world do what they do. As I asked in a previous post, "do you think governments tell us everything, or do you think they keep secrets?"

Perhaps it's as simple as having to justify the ridiculous projected mortality rates we were all fed at the start, to justify the draconian restrictions forced on us, and the destruction of people's businesses and lives.

You're clearly too dim to work this out for yourself, and I am growing tired of trying to explain these concepts to an idiot.
So you can’t offer any logical explanation as to why the U.K. Govt would choose to upscale the death rates, which goes against literally all of the demonstrable facts of what they’ve actually tried to do in this regard.

Just a quick reminder, this is your actual assertion, yet you’re now literally admitting that you can’t provide any reason or logic for this assertion.

And yet here’s also you, calling me dim in response to me asking you to provide the logic or facts that lead you to reach your conclusion.

Remember, this is the person who admitted that 'For those who believe, no evidence is required'

Reminds me of the games of Bullshit Bingo we used to play in Royal Mail management meetings. Adding value to the big picture going forward etc. See how many you could roll up in a single sentence.

Corporate waffle. I ****ing hated it when I was in management. Best value practice, efficiency directed outcomes, etc. You could have literally sat there with your dabber in meetings marking them off.

You do realise that the mandatory self-isolation applies if you have visited a non-exempt country during your travel, with the period required reduced by the number of days since you were in that country. Doesn't matter which country you arrive from.

The online form you have to fill in, print and then present on arrival apparently asks for dates and countries visited.

Yes, mate, I realise this. Given I'm not some thick **** who's confused by any of this.

We are holidaying in France (exempt), but were sailing back from Santander, which is in Spain (now non exempt).

As we would have to quarantine for 14 days coming back from Spain, despite the fact we would have not actually had to touch Spanish soil, I have changed the return destination to Caen, which is in France.

This is because I can read and digest simple information.

Unlike most of Britain, if the BBC are to be believed.

85 Staying Alive - by wearing a mask

13 Unlucky for some - it’s only flu says Hiag

Apart from where I suggest that they may be intent on bumping up the death stats in order to justify their draconian actions, yeah?
<doh>

Yeah as inflating the death rate to somehow justify lockdown would be the perfect way of demonstrating both its necessity and effectiveness, and thus avoiding criticism.

As opposed to having one of the highest death rates on the planet.

Your logic there is impeccable, you’ve really thought that through. <doh>

How long has the flu been around?

How long have they been studying covid 19?

Why have you cropped my quote?

Explain how that's relevant to your argument that we have built up resistance to the flu when the CDC report in 2017 showed that from the period 1976 to 2010 the rate of flu related death was 3000 to 50.000 and between 2010 to 2016 was 16,000 to 50000.

That shows that the flu which has been around for a lot longer (to answer your question) has shown no evidence of a growing resistance to it. It's getting worse or at best stayed around the same.

How do you use that to apply your argument to Covid?
