It's literally 20 mins out of your life each week to wear a face covering. Okay, the science is only marginally in favour of wearing one, but it falls on the side of being effective, so just ****ing suck it up and do it.
This anti-mask agenda is being driven by the same fruit loops that think Bill Gates is going to secretly microchip us all with a vaccine.
No issue for me. Had my 50 'surgical' ones turn up today which I'm hoping will last the duration.
I've got a friend in California who has gone down this anti-mask route. She's also quite high profile in the media, so her ideas and actions have gained a lot of traction. Swathes of them protesting on the streets not wearing masks. It's all wrapped up in the Trump/God squad out there.
I banged on about this before....What is the harm?
Maybe their's a reason why some countries had such small outbreaks?
Been in a shop once recently so wore one & as i expected didn't like it but hey no big deal .
I don't see the issue personally. I'd struggle with one on for long periods but to pop in the shop once or twice a week it's no bother at all.
Then again I'm already wearing them for short periods most days so am kinda used to it already. Which is why I've gone for similar style ones as I know they're quite breathable.
They have made my skin bad but that's a small complaint in the grand scheme of things. Wouldn't fancy having to wear one for 8-12 hours a day like some, especially in hot weather.
Don't think anyone will particularly like it but as you say it's really not big deal.
Life's full of doing things that you don't really like and we all just get on with it. Unless you really are some self absorbed ****.
I think this is just the sweat. I actually used lockdown to grow a bit of facial hair and now chucking a mask over it is making it itchy as **** and bringing the odd spot up on my chin etc. ****ing typical eh
