Unfortunately post the massive reduction in police numbers I’m not so sure that’s still the case. The loss of detectives in certain areas is quite simply frightening, they simply can’t cope due to the workload. Any case that’s complicated and detailed they simply haven’t got the time to devote to putting a strong case together for the CPS, as their desks are getting constantly filled with cases that require immediate attention.
The situation is exacerbated by the fact that internal applications for detective roles have dropped right off, as plods are reluctant to put themselves through it, for the same basic but with the loss of shift pay. I feel really sorry for DC’s at the minute, and for many of the victims they’re dealing with, as they simply can’t provide the service they want to.

He's never offended me either. I distrusted him at first, because he always seem to appear when Chaos disappeared, but I realised eventually that was due to Welshie keeping out of Chaos' way, so it was more due to me being a shhite with him, than the other way around.

Yeah see, show any weakness in this place and it's like a ship load of rats come flooding in.
Yeah, there’s not enough of them, and not enough support for them from other agencies (lack of Mental Health beds being a case in point). They are left woefully ill equipped to do society’s dirty work.
Which makes their ability to police diverse cities with complex problems like London, Liverpool and Manchester, largely by consent and without routinely carrying arms, all the more remarkable.

He got banned by brb, but it was removed a day or so later iirc. He’s not currently banned so has either locked himself out, or he’s sulking.
