I'm still not understanding track and trace, how is it useful if I refuse to add it to my phone?
They’ve recruited (via private companies) 20,000 call handlers who’s job will to be following up confirmed COVID cases and trying to ascertain the people and specific areas that they could have infected. This starts next week.

The app won’t be available until at least the end of June, primarily because it doesn’t yet work in an acceptable manner.

I think the only thing that will make it go away is if somethng worse happens, so I hope I am too.
I think it already has. As the Cummings debacle has now gone way beyond Cummings and his indiscretions, as what has really pissed people off, is the pitiful lies that senior Govt officials, including Johnson have put out there to try and save this fellas skin. As they’ve show a complete disdain for the intelligence of the populous. Together with watering down the crucial health advice that we’re all supposed to be living by.

Will I be forced at some point to download the app. I am having a test done in the coming week or two, I expect it to show that I have not had covid, clearly though I will have to wait for that result. But even if I have that test and it is ok, I still don't want to notify ppl by app - suppose I'm wondering in the future, if there will be restrictions on my movements, if I don't download that app.
