See @Treble the problem with you is unlike me, I'm happy to give anyone a kicking when I think they deserve it. You will just give anyone a kicking because you don't like them. It's about keeping things in perspective, to say Boris don't know what he is doing or saying is absolute bolloxs. I would never even try and defend Boris with that excuse in the contrary either.

Oh I'm sure Boris will be just fine whether I give him a kicking or not. His performance was awful today though. Just calling it as it is.

He's lost a lot of weight, I'll give him that

And I'd add I've rarely singled out Boris either before during or after Cummingsgate in this whole coronavirus crisis.

I will then. He was a dickhead when he was London Mayor too. Wasting millions on projects that advisers told him not to bother with and then trying to claim the credit for various initiatives that Ken Livingstone put in place and the mayoral team around him steered successfully.

Boris is flag waving numpty. That's about as far as his skill set goes.

Boris knew what he was doing mate, it's all part the act, the same act that Cummings used today. I think the only way this is going to grow any more substance is if constitutes put more pressure on their MP's to put pressure on Boris. I think what Dom did today was a very devious move to silence the media, and in part it's a round won. Why do I say that....because once you allow the media to ask you unlimited questions, it exhausts the speculation. Now it's all down to what the other Tory MP's do, or how the opposition react to it.

Cummings is to Boris what Campbell was to Blair.
He'll not resign and they won't sack him.

For obvious reasons I hope we are over the worse of this virus but because of this farce I just hope that we do not need to go into lockdown again cos this'll lead to people doing their own thing regardless.

The geezer said he left Downing Street running on the 27th March as his wife was at home ill with covid like symptoms so she couldn't care for their son.

He went on to say he went back to work that day ... he also said they had not been tested at that point so did not know if they had it ... so he broke the isolation rule on that day.

From 2nd of March (3 weeks before lock down) we were told (in school) that if a member of our family had covid like symptoms we had to self isolste for 14 days. The school had to send a list of sick staff and all staff self isolating to the Department for Education.

So why did he not follow the rules that ALL public sector workers were told to follow in the first week of March?

Bit weird that not one journalist actually picked up on this.

I agree about the constituents. From news reports a lot of the Tory backbenchers still want Cummings gone but waiting to see how the fall-out from today pans out in the next few days with their constituents. Other than that I can't say what will happen, we'll wait and see. If anything it will be less about what Boris and Cummings have said or done, more to do with apathy.

As I've said several times before, I personally couldn't give a **** what happens to Cummings, I just don't like the bullshitters who come out with the bare-faced lies to defend him. In that respect I don't see Boris as any different to Schapps or Gove or Raab tbh.

I think one truth he does tell, is the day he went home to his wife, because I remember, SKY were filming outside Downing St that day, and as a reporter was discussing the day events, Cummings left in a hurry from number 10, he clearly had something on his mind, I genuinely believe he was going home to his wife that day, I hadn't seen his expression as on that day, before.
