Has anyone else noticed that coronavirus has lead to video quizzes being really popular? I seem to be invited to one by someone every other day!

Opened a nice bottle of Pinot Noir so that I’ll feel like I’m in a real pub quiz...

I do a pub quiz on a Thursday night, it's all moved online and it's growing every week. Probably 2-3 times more people taking part than when it was in the pub.

Yeah we are doing family ones each week at the moment. Also getting invited to work ones and social ones! It’s great at the moment but I’m not sure how many more quizzes I can do <laugh>

It was the first thing that came to my mind when you mentioned the two states. My brain instantly thought wealth, and affording medical care. Hence the figures I posted. Also if you tend to be poorer, you are more than likely to be more rebellious against a system that is trying to lock you down, which would fit with your thoughts regarding population density.

I think you could be right...

U.S. deaths due to coronavirus has gone to 4591 in a day.

At the time 2000 was scary enough but that rate of increase in a week is mental.

He wouldn't give two ****s.

What would be better is if the world's senior leaders were able to bypass the U.S. so that any president would have to take notice.

And herein lies the real problem. The rest of the world is too reliant on the U.S. which isn't usually such a big issue... until you get a psychopathic lunatic in charge at which point you realise just how vulnerable the rest of the world is. If the coronavirus is a wake up call to the world in everyone re-evaluating what's important in life, then Trump is the wake-up call for the rest of the world to re-evaluate globalisation and the over-dependency on the U.S. and the need for a stronger world outside of America.
Just so long as that is not Russia with Putin in total control
He makes Trump look like a child with its nose pressed up against a shop window
Be careful what you wish for

No definitely not Putin. And tbh I'm not saying anyone has to be in control either. I just think in terms of economy, trade, currency and security, other countries should find stronger links between themselves so they're not reliant on any one country whether that's U.S. or Russia.
