Everybody needs a good giggle <ok>

Let me point something out to you, there are limited suppliers of PPE and usually a fairly constant usage, Since Feb of this year every man and his dog have been demanding masks to wear whilst walking their dog, riding their bike and even some total loons driving their car,
and at work many more people are demanding gloves and aprons this has caused a massive shortage which is neither the fault of manufacturers, suppliers, the NHS or the Government.
How would you have overcome this situation?
Germany are managing the situation much better than we are.

I'll explain where I believe this whole thing went wrong....back in January, I didn't have a clue what was going on, why would I, I'm not obsessed with daily world news. Then come February I hear talk of a pandemic, I took it with a pinch of salt, afterall why wouldn't I, I've never experienced such a thing in my lifetime. Also my complacency came about because my logical thoughts said, surely someone would shut the borders if this was really occuring. Come March I started to listen after I was shown something occurring in Italy. My thoughts after seeing what I saw, shhite houston we have a problem! April, too late the horse has bolted. So where did we go wrong....WHY DIDNT WE SHUT THE FOOKING BORDERS!?
Shutting the borders would have made little or no difference in fairness. We appear to have imported the bulk of this virus from Italy, primarily during the kids half term from the ski resorts. So shutting the borders to foreign nationals doesn’t matter when it’s your own who are bringing it back with them.

If you look at the spread map of U.K. infections it was largely the more affluent areas who that got hit first. I doubt Middlesbrough will get this until abar 2025........JOKE <laugh>

You’ve been posting long enough to have predicted that that pic was going to get ripped to shreds

<laugh>

Indeed mate ... but it was opportune bait to hook the usual suspects in these times of footie boredom <laugh>

... and you are well aware that I first posted a pic because you did... and then challenged me too :bandit:

No regrets ... respect to you and everyone else that has had the balls to do so ... <smooch>

I'd like to think that this is a lesson for the future but things are to soon forgotten or put to the very back of the mind .
Some groups have been warning western governments for years to be prepared for the unthinkable !
Usually brushed off as scaremongering, nanny state etc .

You are both very arrogant and ridiculously thin skinned, which is why you often, very quickly, revert to personal attacks which often include making inappropriate comments about family members of the person who has hurt your fragile ego. It’s a thread about a pandemic but you want people to marvel at a photo of you and your mates from 35 years ago. Amazing really.

Still no pic then? ... what are you scared of Stalker Staniel? <laugh>

They were better prepared. Not because they responded quicker but because their health service was better funded in the long term. That's something we seriously need to look at once this is all over.
No politics please...<cool>

That you still have small balls ... in that you still feel the need to ridicule from your insecure anonymity ... happy to clarify, tiddly nuts <cheers>
So let me get this right, completely unprompted you posted a pic of yourself from 36 years ago to somehow show that I’ve got small balls?

Cracking logic there Col.

You didn’t expect for THAT PIC to get ridiculed......on here? seriously? <laugh>

Oooh!!! steady on you will upset the right wing element .

It's not an issue from what I gather it's the supply to hospitals unless the ppe isnt really there in the first place!
It's an issue, my the company i am at (only small) has five different suppliers for gloves and masks, none of them have any stock. Yesterday i gave half a box of gloves away to a fabrication company we use because they can't get any and i rarely use them.
Manufacturers are struggling with demand, why else do you think the NHS are struggling with supply?

Completely unprompted by a post that queried whether a previous pic was me? ... oh dear <doh>

Must try harder ...<cheers>

I honestly don't think that is even politics. Every ****er from every side of the political debate knew it was under funded. Ideological differences only come into it when it comes to thinking about how you go about fixing and funding it. One side thinks it should be done through a greater percentage of spending and another thinks it should be done through increasing the total wealth with the same percentage. (I know that's a massively over-simplified version of it).
