I’m sure if I was on the front line I’d want PPE, that doesn’t change any of what I’ve said, it’s just an emotion driven argument.

The reality is the vast majority of the world have been caught out by the severity of this pandemic.

You might think everything could have been rainbows and sunshine, but the people we trust as a nation to run the NHS have mobilised in an incredible way and deserve our thanks for the hard work they are doing to deal with this situation rather than people who haven’t got a clue what is going on slagging them off because their mate who’s a nurse is pissed off at thinking they don’t have PPE.

Nobody's saying rainbows and sunshine. And what is being said is what frontline staff are crying out for. You said they're moaning. They aren't, they're risking their lives AFC even more than is necessary so they have every right to raise it.

And if they're using incorrect PPE for different situations then surely that's because they're having to make do with what they've got.

I'm not trying to argue with you or suggest I know more. I also don't aim this at NHS management because ultimately I think government is accountable and they should've done better. It's just more of the same in their response to this pandemic.

I totally understand why frontline staff are concerned. It’s the looking for blame I take issue with. This is an unprecedented situation and the people responsible for sorting that PPE are working incredibly hard to do so.

And no it’s not just about making do, some of it is about people panicking and not following guidance so using higher levels of PPE for lower risk situations creating shortages for higher risk situations.

And I know you’re blaming the government. What I’m pointing out is it’s people in the NHS that are dealing with this situation, not the government so your blame is misplaced. But when it’s pointed out it’s within the nhs people are then understandably less likely to complain. Which is what I’m trying to get at - stop looking to blame people, just accept its a **** situation with people doing their best.

true story it might start something like " ahhh hello my little friend " haven't I told you all what happens to your kind when you enter my premises "?

That's what the BTK killer did, BTK stands for "Bind, Torture, Kill" and it's how he described himself to the police. He got away with the murders too, but he couldn't help himself and when the cops began to say "he's likely dead or in jail already" BTK HAD to send them messages gloating that he is still free. One of these messages got him caught, like 20 years after the fact.

But anyway- BTK would enter their house while they were out, he would then jump out and hold them at gunpoint and would very calmly explain "I have sexual fantasies, when you're ready we will get it over with and you can go free." Of course, his fantasy involved strangling them to death and then masturbating over their corpse.

But anyway ye, the Coronavirus sucks.

It’s not blind faith. I’m in a position to see a lot of how this is being dealt with at a very senior level and whilst I’m not nearly as passionately “everything nhs is wonderful, you can’t criticise them” as many on this forum are, how this situation is being dealt with is a huge effort and very impressive if you could see what I am currently.
