I work with a few Kopites and Leeds fans. They’re all currently in the denial stage.but where Liverpool is concerned, we love the cherry just dangling under their noses for 3 whole weeks, for it then to be cruelly snatched away

They need to listen to the people in the know. Three weeks is nothing, they could suspend football for 12 weeks and the problem is not going to go away. Then winter will come and we will be back to square one! The only way to build immunity is for people to die, but the footballing bodies have sent the answer that Boris failed to deliver....that allowing people to die is not an option. Therefore based on that Liverpool are well and truly fooked

There is zero chance the PL picks up where it left off on April 3rd, so many players who have yet to be tested or have just been tested will come back as positive, and the amount of people infected with the virus will be in the thousands.
All that remains to be decided is whether they keep everyones current placings as final or whether they just nuke the entire season and start from scratch.
Either way there will be major financial implications and tantrums across the board.

The declaring the season on current placings simply isn’t an option due to the relegation issues, as it’d be a legal quagmire.
They either finish it before the end of June or it’s declared null & void.

I'm worried about it can't lie. If we get to play the games we will win this league but if we don't I can't see them declaring us champions even though it's clear we will win it, mathematically we haven't yet.

I think they are worthy champs that's not the issue ! Give them it its seems pretty fair to me !
Liverpool had not done well since the winter break, there was no guarantee they would have won their remaining games. I know it's painful bruv, have a beer and light the candle
Even if you win it mathematically they can't award you it if the season hasn't been completed.
