Unbeaten season - fail
Treble - fail
Double - fail
Earliest date to secure a PL title - fail
Greatest team in da world evva - fail

It's going to be a tainted title if the season ever does actually conclude.

Ultimate ouch!

I’m not arguing the toss, I’m just telling you how it is.

One thing I’ve not seen mentioned is that the season cut off has to be no later than 30th June. As that’s when players contracts end and there’ll be plenty of free agents / players who’ve arranged Bosman moves etc.

Individual contracts mean nothing to the league, the main concern of the PL is avoiding bankruptcy through violation of TV and other sponsorships

BTW technically there's no guarantee UEFA even offer the PL any more CL spots if they report an incomplete league

Acts of God don’t count, Astro.

Just face it, ‘Pool could be well and truly ****ed.

One of the Cherries players has it. That means that it’s reached Bournemouth.

With the amount of retirees down here, Dorset could be laid to waste.

I can see the act of god with Liverpool fans is not going down well <laugh>

I thought they were all great believers! :bandit:

In the future a man will escape a civilisation of apes and find himself on Crosby beach. He'll look up and find a half buried statue of someone called Shankly. Historians will uncover that there used to be a sport called football. And in football's final year a team called Liverpool won the Champions League, Super Cup, Club World Cup, and Premier League.

Greatest team ever.

Teams enter the competitions with registered squads, you couldn’t have a scenario in which a chunk of their players contracts expired ffs. The cut off point will be the end of June.

As for that nonsense about UEFA and TV that’s just a desperate reach. These are uncharted waters and the whole of Europe is facing the same issues.
