I think they are just delayed ?

EFL: “The FA, Prem League, EFL and WSL have collectively agreed to suspend football in England until 3 April at the earliest.” Privately admit no chance of resuming then & suspension will be extended, but will hope that Euro2020 is postponed by a year creating space in calendar.

It’s already being mooted that this season could be declared null and void.

They’ve had Mousers calling in and crying.

There is no way if they have cancelled football fixtures until the 3rd April, that football will resume. The 3rd April is just a review date of the situation, before the inevitable happens. Imagine being a Liverpool fan and being put on hold for for 3 weeks, only for a cruel twist of fate at the end of it <laugh>

Good friend of ours is a GP. She thinks schools should have been closed and over 60's advised to stay indoors for next few weeks. Another friend is also a GP. He was very blase about the virus to begin with but is now in panic mode. Both accept that it's almost inevitable that they will have to self-isolate at some point.

<laugh> keep trying to argue the toss
I’m not arguing the toss, I’m just telling you how it is.

One thing I’ve not seen mentioned is that the season cut off has to be no later than 30th June. As that’s when players contracts end and there’ll be plenty of free agents / players who’ve arranged Bosman moves etc.

Due to quarantining the players will also need a few weeks of training to get back into match fitness.

Barring some form of divine intervention the season is done. All that’s up for debate is when they call it.

Global warming might help <laugh>

30C heatwave in early April and things would improve dramatically.
