Is that legal now? It used to be seen as a tax fiddle.

I spoke to my accountant and she says I'm okay so I'm going with that.

One of the guys who I work with is a sole trader working on the tools (I'm primarily not) and also working solely for the same company - he isn't okay and needs to become PAYE.

I'm not strong on accounting I must admit.

Profit and loss accounting yes, but not taxes and all that stuff.

I had a backdated VAT bill of £8k the other year!

Pleasant surprise that was (squashed in the end).

All down to a little thing called IR35 ... there is actually a tool on the HMRC website which you can use to see whether an individual should be on a company's payroll or can be used on a contractor basis <cheers>

IR35 is very easy to get around if what I have been told is true, I stopped contracting a couple of years ago to go back to salary so doesn’t impact me though so haven’t really looked into it

Not any more ... onus now shifted to end user rather than the individual ... New regime kicks in from 6 April 2020 although there is a 'soft landing period' in relation to penalties <ok>

This could be disastrous for lower league and non-league football clubs. The further down the pyramid you go, the more a club relies on matchday revenue. Shirt sales, TV money, image rights etc aren't really a factor for them. Worrying.

Yeah I've mentioned that a few times. Would like to think the PL could put something in place really?

So after sitting in that COBRA meeting all day, the government has decided.....to do nothing.....basically phase 2 consists of staying at home for one week if you have a cough or fever.......even though the incubation and transmission stage can last up to 24 days.....

The funny part of it all is I actually don't mind Chaos. I seem to like all the weirdos <laugh>

But just because I might like them, does not give anyone excuse to...well, you know.

Chaos can be a decent poster but he's one right attention seeking fanny, just read what he wrote about the Chinese and he's a ignorant ****ing idiot too. For me he's another Matth, obviously has some major psychological problems, hence his compulsive lying.. Wishing you the virus isn't the way to go but the words of a very immature fruitcake when he's backed into the corner.. I honestly think he could be a bad problem to people who reject him in the real world..

You sound like a hard working lad, you should be encouraged and not having this red tape crap to deal with..<ok>

They’re useless. Johnson is a waste of space and he’s surrounded himself with intellectually lightweight yes men and women.

From what they're saying it's most contagious in the first few days of symptoms and then it's OK after that. Doesn't seem to correlate with what others are saying though.
