Who gets promoted/relegated? It’s a mess.
No one gets relegated, no one gets promoted, no champions and (as things stay the same as last season) European places stay the same as well...Leeds stay down and Liverpool ain't champions...win win situation really!
True, as a result Spurs will be in the CL next season and West Ham stay up...but that's a sacrifice I am willing to make for the greater good <cheers>

So what stats should I use to compare the death rate of the officer class to the enlisted servicemen, other than the stat that compares the death rate of the officer class to the enlisted serviceman? Or are yousaying they're wrong and we should contact the royal historical society and tell them all their records are wrong because fosse's granny said so?

Didn't say the stats were wrong, just pointed out that they give a false picture ... Eton has about 1500 students at any one time ... British fatalities on the first day of the Somme alone were 20,000 ... personal digs at me won't change the reality of that no matter how hard you try, Hernia <ok>

Eton lost more alumni than any other school I believe and the death rate was well above the average for Britons in the war overall.

Not disputing that at all ... just putting in perspective. The town of Accrington lost a generation of its youth in one fell swoop, largely due to the complete incompetence and disregard for rank and file life by those at the top of the army hierarchy. Not sure how many old Etonians were ordered to advance against entrenched artillery with nowt but a rifle and bayonet but I suspect relatively few.

Finish this season off when we can and do a mini season next season with every team playing each other once?

**** knows. It’s going to come back in the Winter even if it dies down in the Summer, apparently.

Just keep playing til the end.. We’re all going to die anyway, ****it, pretend it’s not happening

I was in Bethnal Green, in East London, for a job interview a few years ago. In a little street of terraced houses I came across a War Memorial consisting of two plaques on the wall of one of the houses. There were about 150 names on the WWI plaque, which at first I thought must have been the names of all the dead soldiers from Bethnal Green; but it wasn’t. It was the names of all the dead men from that one street.

We were told down the mosque today that they are going to cover the floor with plastic and we have to bring our own prayer mats in future.
