So why are the Italians suffering so much, they have a very good health service, care to explain that one.

I think the sad thing is that the public again can see what needs doing, like de ja vue during the Brexit **** a year ago and here we have the same bunch of clowns, wearing different suits sorting it <doh>

A lot of people are really going to regret voting Dominic Cummings in to No10..

It's a good question and one I personally don't know the answer to. Other than Italians are very family orientated and touchy feely type of people. I would say some of their personal hygiene leaves something to be desired, but i'd suggest it's because their communities tend to be closer.

However, having said that the problem seemed to be mainly based around Lombardy, so the question could be why more there, than the poorer South?

Because better off people are more likely to travel and bring it back with them? The first UK cases came about from a guy who went to Singapore and then went skiing.

Yorkshire critical beds are already 70% full
Build temporary Corona virus hospitals and try to deal with it as best as possible .

Could well be, Lombardy to my knowledge is the wealthiest area of Italy, after all it contains the City of Milan. Whereas if you look at Puglia (Bari) it hardly gets a mention, the poorer South.

It would take the 10 years just to get planning permission to build an outhouse, so no chance of a temporary Corona virus hospital

He wasn’t blaming the Tories for the virus ffs <laugh>

The Italians are suffering more fatalities due to their comparatively older population combined with even their system being stretched with the lack of ventilators / critical care beds.
