Double up for £2 in Spoons.

Not gonna lie, that was always too good an offer to refuse.

Went to sainsbury's the other evening and was actually surprised there was a seemingly a booze shortage.

Didn't know this was a thing, can only assume they'd prioritised other items?

There was a woman on her phone "yeah, there's one in a green bottle. Tanquaray 10. Any good?"

Nearly advised her that yes, it's very good, but decided not to interfere.

I've been for a couple of runs through the Gwent levels Owl sporting while staying away. Can't even stay away now though, apparently the B&B can't stay open unless I'm an essential worker.

So, I've got to drive it every day as construction continues. Although not essential, obvs. Which is ok, as the motorway's are very quiet.

Picked the wrong time to have my car remapped then ( tm @PISKIE) , it's unbelievably tempting to just floor the ****er and laugh.

It's also easy to stick it in cruise control and appreciate the extra 5mpg I'm getting.

Win!

Retailers are prioritising the essentials but there was a huge raid on alcohol aisles when the lockdown was announced. Bet loads are just sat in all day sinking tins.

Did about 35 seconds chucking weights above my head this morning. Might do another 35 before bed.

Went for a walk in woods, bit eerie tbh, every ****er passing each other 6 feet apart

I got wrong today! I was out collecting logs and told it wasnt essential... bit OTT there was nobody around in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe a change to charging more NI for them .?
Government bottled it last time !

I thought that's what he suggested would happen in future, basically if you want to be treated equally in the time of crisis, then you also have to accept being treated equally regarding NI in the future. I think some good is coming from all this, certainly in saying to people you can't have it both ways. Much like those who maybe didn't understand the plight of those on Universal Credit and going to Foodbanks, fate has a magnificent way of demonstrating to people, how easy you can fall into that same poverty trap. Lessons of life, whether it makes people any wiser is another matter.
