Clueless ****s like you think you know better than experts <doh>

And what is it you think the experts are saying?

You’re buying into the mass hysteria.

Experts agree that masks do **** all, the virus is likely to spread more but have a low fatality rate and of that fatality rate it’ll be old people and those with conditions that make them more susceptible to lung conditions who fare worst. And that the best way to avoid it spreading more than it needs to is to wash your hands.

What’s happening at the moment is a huge amount of covering ones own arse to avoid liability for not taking it seriously enough. From a government level all the way to individual businesses.

What’s wrong with you?!

Working from home is the ****.

Just make sure you have a proper office space set up. I work from home at least one day week, if I don’t have many appointments I’ll do two from home.

Proper coffee, casual lunch, comfort of your own home. What’s the problem? Unless you really struggle to get into work mode at home it’s the bollocks.

Maybe it’s just me , but my home is my home , my work place is my work place . Yes I would struggle to get into work mode at home and only have a small place anyway . There is no room I could turn into an office even if I wanted to , which I don’t .

Currently don’t have a work space set up. Get distracted easily, but once in the zone I do hammer out the work as you’re not getting interrupted all the time. I prefer going to a satellite office where none of my client are, and get on with things there.

He’s a bit of a twatter on social media.
What he said is true though, young Stanley. People would rather avoid the truth, or attack someone for saying the truth.

It’s all about flowering up the edges now, batting round the bush, just so someone doesn’t feel offended.

If he added some sad faces, maybe a teary eyed one, people would have reacted differently.

How he worded it was pretty insensitive to the old and people with conditions.

I understand his sentiment but it’s a bit of an “I’m alright Jack” comment the way it’s phrased, which is prevalent amongst his comments on social media.

Sometimes you need to see beyond the footballer. They aren’t really “Gods”.

I do see beyond the footballer here, I like Matty but I take everything he says about the real word with a pinch of salt. I dislike the media more which are whipping this up into something bigger than it is.

It’s the same with a terrorist attack that kills maybe one or 2 people, but when it’s a couple of youths knifing each other on a Friday night, it’s deemed as normal / collateral damage.

The winter flu kills people, and yes the mortality rate is lower, I suspect it’s also higher in the elderly and with people with underlying issues.

I feel the government / media over embellish things these days, so that they can avoid any form of blame.

1987 Fish weather forecast comes to mind. Underplayed a storm and got hammered for it. Ever since, over play it, avoid blame and it has become more prevalent since social media has become massive.

Also, **** social media. The worse thing that has ever been invented.
