One of my mates is the same….folded thinking he couldn’t go away with jab so had the first dose only…..he’s had more cold than me and the lads which hadnt had any

seems to have suppressed immune response if you ask me….but maybe your not having enough vitamin d in your system so if that’s the case you gotta look at boosting your immune system naturally

I agree with the vit d part, as so many people work from home now or even if you work in an office everyday, especially as we move into the shorter days for the Autumn/Winter - I'd advice anyone that is being constantly ill to go to the doctors for a chat, and see if they recommend some blood tests, vit d like b12 deficiency and all the others would show up in that.

funny you should mention b12 deficiency because that’s brought on by alcohol consumption and many of the people I know that’s fkd are also drinkers…..it’s not been a great mix by the sounds of it

I think vit d & b12 seem to be the common ones they check for, I don't know if there are any others. I also didn't know b12 was affected by drinking, which Luv tends to a lot of <whistle>:bandit::cheesy:

I don't like taking supplements, it seems that it's a constant thing now where the advice is to take this and that along with the jabs. I've never been told I'm deficient in anything.

I'm generally well but have the odd cold and COVID now it seems, not really bothered by it.

I was reading an article some months back, about the numbers (a hell of a lot) of people who have deficiencies and vit d being one of the main ones. Although you seem to go for lots of walks, so you should be getting plenty of sun.

I do, very much enjoy drinking. No idea where I stand in the great scheme of drinkers though. From what I see I'm in the middle not a heavy drinker but certainly couldn't say I don't drink much..
Off to Birmingham in November to meet friends now the bloke can put away 10 pints+ easily and Mrs luv can drink a fair amount. I can drink 4 pints tops and then maybe a few bottles or wine if there's a gap and food.

Yeah I'm on board with no jabs, I stopped having the flu one as well. COVID day 7 now and it's hanging about getting on my nerves now.

It's been a lovely weekend here, would have gone for a couple of long ones if it wasn't for feeling this way. Yes it would have ended with a pint or two at my fave pub.

You don’t need supplements you just need to know what you’re eating….I don’t take any supplements myself I just like the outdoors and good foods I rarely drink alcohol and seem to fight off most bugs faster than most people I know

was also reading cannabis is a great weapon of choice <laugh>

At least COVID keeps it interesting with a different symptom each day, stops it being boring y'know.

I had two days of cold symptoms followed by two days of feeling like I’d run the London marathon without training for it for it…..if that was Covid then I’d definitely say it’s not worth risking blood clots instead of getting the virus
