... yes ... but where? <whistle>

You've virtually hit the nail on the head with those last two words. As Piskie had already worked out, I was playing him with the Cornwall thing, but he never actaully worked out the reasons why, nor did I say.

His final sentences were around poverty in Cornwall, 41% of Children in the town nearest to him.....and that's where I come in, people sometimes don't think about the words they say, or in this case type.

My point....how Piskie responded is how most people the opposite view to him respond, when talking about refugees, he didn't say it directly, but his words could have been read as...shouldn't we be looking after our own first - although he never meant that. The unconscious mind is amazing.

Which goes back to my original view, when I told him to stop creating a them and us, because in reality, there is not a lot of difference in the two, and it never creates solutions only more problems. As I said in my words, bring me the solutions, not the problem.

No one said you had to read it or respond, ignore it if you don't like it. Go drown yourself in booze or whatever you normally do yer sad dickhead.

In all media outlets it was described as a mob obstructing the lifeboat, what I found strange, was despite onlookers, there was no video evidence or photos of this said obstruction.

All that was offered was one man, shouting, don't bring anymore back here, yet the media, continued to report it as a mob, and those headlines were getting the usual expected reactions.

The Guardian newspaper, asked on twitter if there was a full length video to confirm this mob, to which the owner of the footage said yes, but requested payment, when challenged on requesting payment, they stated a donation for RNLI. Fair enough.

But where was this evidence still, this is what I found....

ONE man, a fisherman!

I eventually found the full length video that was sold to the Guardian....

It shows the lifeboat being escorted to the sea, across the beach by RNLI volunteers, still no obstruction, despite the story claiming 'people' - until it reached the waters edge, and the same fisherman, threw bait in for the seagulls.

Yes a protest, but not a mob and certainly nothing that justified the reaction it got.

What the fisherman did was out of order, but why create anything more than what it was, too many people intent on stirring trouble, than really caring about those crossing the channel, and finding real solutions to complain about, hence I doubt a lot of what is said now, because it's constantly full of political agendas...

The ****ing state of this.

RNLI lifeboat crew ‘blocked from going out to sea’ by people angry at them rescuing refugees

Yeah not coronaish, but thought I'd stick it in here anyway.

This is the sort of **** that happens when the likes of Priti Patel and her ilk are allowed to whip up anti-refugee rhetoric

Literally women and kids dying in the sea off our shores, and these ****s think they are entitled to stop the emergency workers from doing their jobs. Should have been arrested and charged under the emergency workers obstruction act.
Looks like you have taken the bait, mate.

No different to people who jump on sensationalist headlines about refugees and the Labour party.

Had mine this morning .
bloody farce tbh at a pharmacy about 6 miles from home as i knew from checking on Google street view the booking sires access statement of disabled parking was bullshit as there is no parking ( some just "park" on the pavement ) . People were crammed , in the receptionist just kept calling people who she knew by name thru until oi just went at sat in front of her , after the jab you were meant to be monitored for 15 mins but the "nurse" asked if i had a lift and when i said no i was the driver she said the waiting area was really crammed and i might as well go home . When i queried this saying thought it was to check for anaphylactic shock she just went " that would already have happened " . So off i drove .
Hope the wifes will go better though i'm fairly certain about the access where i booked her in .

Yup... had my 15 minute wait after. Fun bit for me is always the pre jab questionnaire checklist... "are you on blood thinners?" ... "Yes ... had a quadruple heart bypass - I'm on every ****ing thing love" <laugh>
