It’s not really about his rule breaking over COVID, it’s not even about him going over the side, it’s about the fact he employed his squeeze, stuck her on an NHS committee she wasn’t qualified to be on, got to grips with her in his place of work, and paid her out of the public purse - whilst holding one of the great offices of State.
An office of that level comes with responsibilities & he’s blatantly taken the piss, that’s before you factor in the little matter of him being actually ****ing useless, having lied to the Commons & the public, and being directly responsible for 10’s of thousands of care home deaths.

Not really though. I remember David Blunkett resigning from his cabinet position for failing to get appropriate approval for an advisors role he’d taken whilst he was merely an MP the previous year. This Johnson Govt has stories of sleaze and corruption appearing virtually daily, in fact it’s becoming almost Trumpian, there’s that much of it and no consequences people are starting to go ‘meh another one’. We fallen so far in such a short space of time it defies belief tbh.
